July 2016 update

Hello to all of our family, friends and faithful supporters. It’s that time again for a quick ministry update.

We have been very busy the last few months. On June 5th we celebrated our churches first anniversary. It was a time for fellowship, worship and a time to be thankful for God’s faithfulness. We are so blessed to be a part of this ministry! There have been many good times as well as trying times, but in all these things God continues to be faithful!

We also were very blessed by the Samaritans Purse “Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes” program. We received a total of 75 shoe boxes, 25 children attended the “Greatest Journey” classes and 15 children graduated from the class. This was truly a blessing in more ways than one. This was very exciting for us since this is a program that we supported before we became missionaries. It is exciting to experience this rich ministry from both sides, the giving/supporting side and now the receiving side. We thank God for His provision for our churches, for this evangelism tool and we thank all those who support these types of programs.

During the last three months we participated in three different church fellowships with the churches of “Fidelis Legis Assembly of God.” Fidelis Legis Assembly of God is a group of 13 churches who have come together to carry on the work of the Lord. We continue to edify the church, Evangelize the lost and plant churches. The children had their one day fellowship in Pamping Beach, Hilongos; the youth had their three day fellowship in Baybay City and the women had their one day fellowship in Daanlungsod. All these fellowship are a time of prayer, teaching, fellowship and fun.

In April we increased our church leadership team, we welcomed Pastora Elsa Lamoste (center) from Tag-os Matalom Leyte and Pastora Maricel Bañoc (right) from Matapay Hilongos Leyte. These God loving ministers have greatly helped us with our worship team, with our youth & children’s ministry as well as evangelism. We have been greatly blessed by God’s provision!

We continue to raise money to build houses for people who were devastated by Typhoon Yolanda; since we started our fundraiser we have raised enough money to build four houses. Our partners, Baybay Assembly of God completed the construction of the first two houses. One house was for a family of five while the second house was for a single mother. We will start the construction of two additional houses in the near future.

We continue to provide much needs help to those who need medical care. Currently we are trying to help 21 year old Rommel Zamora who has a brain tumor. We are first of all believing that the healing hand of God will completely heal Rommel and we are believing that God will provide all the material and spiritual needs of Rommel and his family.

We also ask that you pray about providing financial support for this ministry. As with all ministries it takes compassionate people to respond in obedience to God’s will in their lives to provide financial support for His Kingdom.

As a reminder all monies received by this ministry go directly into our various programs. We do not use ministry money for our personal support! God has blessed us with an ample retirement and a beautiful house with property so we are able to use ministry monies for ministry!

We ask that you continue to pray not only for us and the Philippine people but for all of those throughout the world who are doing God’s work. Pray for their safety and provision for their ministries!

We also invite you to check out our Facebook page. As time allows we will be posting new pictures and videos on our FB page.
