Ministry Update April 2018

Our kids Amie Rose, Analyn & Marco

Hello to all of our family, friends and faithful supporters. We just wanted to say hello and give you a quick ministry update.

We continue to be very busy taking care of the children in Anahawan and traveling back and forth to our church in Sitio Panas, Barangay Bilibol, Maasin City, Southern Leyte.

The children are doing well in school and love attending church and worshiping God.
Amie Rose, a fourteen year old girl we care of just had her 6th grade graduation and will start high school next year.

Analyn, a nine year old girl we care for was promoted with honors to 3rd grade. Marco, a nine year old boy we care for was promoted to 5th grade.

The children have shown such a vast improvement in their schooling since they have been with us! There have been many good times as well as trying times while caring for these children, but in all these things God continues to be faithful!

Last month we participated in the 15th General Fellowship of the “Fidelis Legis Assemblies of God.” This is a three day fellowship where our 13 churches come together to worship God, hear God’s Word, be edified, have fellowship and fun together! We spent three days during Holy week in Baybay City Leyte.

We continue to raise money for and we continue to build houses for people who were devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda as well as other natural disasters. This is one of our main areas of focus and our goal is to build one house per month. Last year we built ten houses and so far this year we have built three houses. This is a need that will be ever growing due to the constant occurrence of Typhoons here in the Philippines as well as other disasters. We continue to pray for partners to help with this real need!

As we prepare for our churches Third Anniversary celebration we are looking for partners who would like to help us purchase a plot of land and or partner with us to build a new facility. Our church is currently located on a piece of land that we leased for ten years and we are three years into that lease. Our vision is to build a church that will accommodate at least 300 people, a parsonage with office space, a youth center, a basketball court as well as other support buildings/facilities. We believe that God will provide!

As a reminder all monies received by this ministry go directly into our various programs. We do not use ministry money for our personal support!

We ask that you continue to pray not only for us and the Philippine people but for all of those throughout the world who are doing God’s work. Pray for their safety and provision for their ministries!

We again thank all of you for your prayers and support.

Love David & Vicenta Cabral
